Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) has announced that the 1st batch of successful applicants of Triple Win Nurses to Germany project has left the country on December 14.
Administrator Hans Leo J. Cacdac said the four nurses deployed are Vanessa Preclaro, Krystel Sumido, Eowyn Galvez and Ruel Galias. They belong to the group of nurses with level B1/B2 German language proficiency.
Cacdac added that the deployment of succeeding batches is expected starting January 2014.
The nurses bound for Germany has put up an association called Association of Filipino Nurses for the Triple Win Project in Germany (Der Verband der Philippinische Pflegekrafte des Triple Win Projekts
in Deutschland). Labor Secretary Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz inducted the officers last week.
In her speech, Baldoz told officers and those to be initially deployed to be proud of their accomplishment being the first group of Filipino nurses under the Triple Win Project.
She emphasized the importance of family solidarity and having constant communication. She also advised them to be always humble and help strengthen camaraderie among Filipino nurses in Germany.
