Two Filipino nurses were killed in a car-bomb attack on Yemeni defense ministry complex on Thursday, as reported by Saba news agency.
The still unidentified nurses were among 52 casualties, which also includes 2 doctors from Germany, 2 doctors from Vietnam, a nurse from India, patients and visitors. The victims were working on a military hospital within the complex were the terrorist group focused their attack.
The suicide bombing attack were followed by armed assault between terrorists and government forces which resulted to 167 people wounded.
Authorities pointed Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) as the culprits, which the United States regards as the jihadist network’s most dangerous branch.
