A POEA-licensed agency is now looking for nurses and radiographers who wants to work at The Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust in London, United Kingdom!

Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust manages two main hospitals: the University Hospital Lewisham and Queen Elizabeth Hospital. In addition, the Trust is responsible for 11 different health centres in Lewisham.

University Hospital Lewisham is a teaching hospital that provides the majority of services of a traditional general hospital, and specialist services in a number of important areas, including: Children’s Day Care Surgery, Neonatal Intensive Care, Cystic Fibrosis Treatment, Ear, Nose & Throat Services, Vascular Surgery, and Midwife-led Birth Centre.

It is also one of the few hospitals in London to have a separate children’s A&E Department; a service that is rated as ‘Excellent’ by the Healthcare Commission.

It has been named as one of the CHKS top 40 hospitals for the third year running, and is a ‘showcase’ hospital with one of the lowest rates of infection in the UK.

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital meanwhile is located on Woolwich Common in London, and was opened in March 2001 to serve patients from the Royal Borough of Greenwich and the London Borough of Bexley.

Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust has partnered with Drake Drake Medox in the UK and ASC Global Recruitment Inc. in the Philippines to recruit nurses and radiographers. They have successfully deployed more than 15,000 Nurses and allied health professionals to the UK since 1998.

Lewisham and Greenwich will be conducting client interviews on September 23 and 24 in Cebu and on September 26 and 27 in Manila.

NURSES: General Medicine and Elderly Care
• Nursing Degree and Current nursing license
• Minimum 12 months registered practice (preferred)
• Less than 12 months out of practice (preferred)
• Academic IELTS minimum score of 7.0 in Reading, Speaking & Listening and no less than 6.5 in Writing OR OET pass at Grade B in each element

Note: NMC accepts combined scores over two IELTS or two OET exams, so the Trust will also consider Nurses who have a minimum of 2 x Grade B scores and 2 x C+ scores in OET or a minimum of 4 x 6.5 scores in IELTS.

RADIOGRAPHERS: CT, MRI, General specialties
• Relevant Degree and Current license
• Minimum 12 months registered practice (preferred)
• Less than 12 months out of practice (preferred)
• IELTS minimum OBS of 7.0 with no element below 6.5 OR TOEFL minimum score 100/120

Salary and Benefits

• Nurses: Basic Salary of £27,936 (including HCAS) annually or over Php 1.7 million
• Radiographers: Basic Salary: Band 6 of £30,401 per annum plus min HCAS of £3,722 = £34,123 pa (including HCAS) annually or over Php 2.1 million; Basic Salary: Band 5
  £24,214 per annum plus min HCAS of £3,722 = £27,936 annually or around Php 1.8 million.
• Overtime/Unsocial hours payments in addition to basic pay
• A cash advance of £500 is available
• Paid annual holiday allowance is 27 days + 8 bank holidays, or 262.5 hours
• Opportunity to sign up to the unique NHS pension scheme
• The Trust will also pay for the following with NO RECLAIM: Immigration Skills Charge, UKVI IELTS,
• CBT, £1,000 towards visa extension and IHS in 3 years.
