As cited in the agreement, fully qualified nurses and certified caregivers, after passing the Japanese national licensure examination, shall have the option to stay for an unlimited period in Japan to practice their profession.
Applicants can only get jobs legally through the POEA since the Philippines and Japan signed an agreement allowing only the POEA to facilitate the recruitment and deployment of Filipino nurses and caregivers.
