Registered nurse Marjorie Kwan was shot to death by unidentified gunmen in Paciano Bangoy, Davao City this Saturday morning.
According to reports from Sta. Ana police, the 23-year-old Filipino-Chinese nurse was on her way home at RGA Village, Paciano Bangoy at around 11:30 a.m. when the suspects aboard a motorcycle attempted to steal her bag.
Marjorie Kwan refused to give her bag, prompting one of the suspects to shoot her. She sustained four gunshot wounds in her hand, chest, back and head.
Senior Inspector Ronald Lao, chief of Sta. Ana police, said robbery may have been the motive of the suspects. He added that they still have no leads yet as to the identity of the suspects.
Police investigation and manhunt operations are still ongoing to catch the suspects in the shooting of nurse Marjorie Kwan.
