Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will hold this year’s first Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE) on the month of July, instead of November as previously announced.
PRC issued Resolution No. 1353 on April 30, rescheduling the May 30-31, 2021 NLE to July 3-4, 2021. The new resolution amended Resolution No. 1350 dated April 22, 2021 which postponed the May 2021 NLE to November 21 and 22.
The regulatory body said that the Professional Regulatory Boards, PRC Officers and the PRC Regional Directors had a meeting on April 26 and agreed to reschedule the exam to July 2021.
PRC said that the new schedule is in response to the “clamor of conducting the NLE to earlier dates due to the urgent call of the government to augment the workforce of the medical professions, especially the Registered Nurses, on the country’s battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.”
The second batch of NLE will remain on November 21-22, 2021.
