The renewal period for Vermont Board of Nursing has started, and the renewal form for paper application is now available for download.
The renewal for Vermont RN license is every odd year (2013, 2015, 2017, so on), and the deadline for submitting the application is at March 31. There are two options in renewal: Do it online via vtprofessionals.org using the username and password they sent in the notice, or download the paper application and sent it to the state board.
If you want to do it by mailing your paper application, here’s the link to download: http://vtprofessionals.org/opr1/nurses/rn_forms/NU_RN_Renewal.pdf
Payment of $95 in bank draft payable in US funds from a bank with a United States affiliate to “Office of the Secretary of State” must be attached with the application. The renewal application fee is non-refundable.
If the completed renewal, along with all supporting documentation, is not received by the expiration date you will be required to pay a late renewal penalty. The penalty is $25.00 for renewals submitted less than 30 days late. Thereafter, the penalty increases by $5.00 for every additional month or fraction of a month, not to exceed $100.00.
